About Me
- Lesley Blackburn-Collette
- Welcome! As this is my first blog, let me take the time to introduce myself so that you get to know a little bit about me. My name is Lesley Blackburn-Collette and I am pursuing a Master's degree in Banking and Fincial Services Management. This is my first class at BU and let me say I am suffering from information overload at the moment. Needless to say, I will be very happy once I get this first class under my belt and get my feet back underneath me! My husband, David, and I currently reside in Bermuda; a place that we both absolutely love. We met here five years ago and were married two years later. We now live in a condo that David renovated from top to bottom. Most of our time in the summer is spent by the pool, then in the winter we try to 'get off da rock', as the locals say, to go skiing. Completing this Master's degree will be a huge accomplishment for me. I currently have two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Bachelor of Business, so I am now ready to make the leap to a postgraduate degree. I am extremely excited to be entering the next chapter of my life and hope that these next two years of studying will be very rewarding for me.

The power of the blog...
Today I shared with my sister the power of the blog and how it could help her obtain corporate sponsorhip for her swimming career. That is what I call paying forward applied knowledge!
